The regional seat of Tabanan is town of prize-winning neatness. It is not yet organised for tourism, and althought this in itself makes it interesting, it is a disadvantage where a place as the subak museum is concerned, wich was obviously conceived with visitors in mind and yet has recently declined into virtual non-existence.

It is no longer  the Subak museum by the side of the road; it is buried in the mandala mathika subak.
