Many tourists who come to Indonesia during their holidays enjoy what the fascinating underwater world has to offer! Bali and it’s surrounding islands has one of the most colorful ocean floors in the world with bright corals, tropical fish, other interesting sea creatures, and ship wrecks. The underwater seabed is full of surprises!
The traditional way of ocean diving is a popular way of exploring the sea floor, but now more people are looking into a new revolutionary way of discovering the depths of the ocean. Bali Marine Walk Tours uses an open-ended helmet that allows people to be fully submerged underwater without getting their head wet. The helmet is placed over the head and is connected by air hoses to scuba tanks. It is specially fabricated with a defogging system to avoid the helmet from fogging up. It also has a built in vent located in the back of the helmet to allow unnecessary air in the compartment to be released. The great thing about using the underwater helmet when diving is that it’s very comfortable to use and water never touches the face. You can breathe normally underwater with no attachments to your mouth or nose. Guests don’t have to worry about make-up smearing off their faces and glasses and contact lenses can be worn at all times.
Bali Marine Walk Tours is a private company that shuttles groups of people to Nusa Lembongan to explore the ocean floor. It is only a quick 30-minute excursion to the island with the Fast Boat from Marine Walk. When the guests arrive the professional dive team will assist each person in putting on their helmet. When it is securely fastened on their heads, they will then use the ladder on the side of the boat to descend down to start their underwater sea adventure. Guests will stay underwater for 15 minutes at a time. They will be amazed with the marine life and will also be given the opportunity to feed the fish in the water.
Guests are encouraged to bring sunscreen, swimsuit, sandals, an extra pair of clothing, and an underwater camera that be used in depths of 8 meters or more. People who are pregnant, on medications, and have a history of lung, heart, asthma, and respiratory problems are not allowed to dive. People who are physically handicapped, but can use both their hands can participate in the marine walk.
